Musical fountain control system based on embedded ARM

Aiming at realizing embedded-ARM control system on musical fountain,the design of software and hardware of this system was completed by Linux operating system with the frame of SAMSUNG's S3C2440 microprocessor.After extracting the sounds' volume and tonality by dealing with the music signal in advance,the musical fountain's spraying height,light and shape of water were controlled efficiently by embedded system.The experiment results show that,this system could achieve real time voice operation,recognize music's cantus,rhythm,musicianship and the intensity of frequency by itself,and also solves the problem efficiently that the traditional-musical fountain only can play several songs for the restriction of the music's character.
